The American Library Association has a feminist task force as part of the Social Responsibilities Round Table that was founded “to address sexism in libraries and librarianship”. Among other things, they run the Amelia Bloomer Project, which recommends “well-written, well-illustrated books for young readers with significant feminist content.” They have announced their picks for this year, and out of the top ten, three are graphic novels!
