This weekend at the Long Beach Comic Expo, the 2018 winner of the Dwayne McDuffie Award for Diversity in Comics was announced. The award, named after the late comic book and animation writer who was one of the founders of Milestone Media, spotlights underrepresented voices in comics and celebrates diversity in stories and creators.
