C. Spike Trotman, Kickstarter goddess behind Smut Peddler, has a new project out, and there’s only three days left to participate.
New World is a fantasy/SF comic anthology about culture clash and civilizations in conflict. It will have 25 stories by 30 creators, including Zach Weinersmith (Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal), Matt Howarth (Those Annoying Post Brothers), and Carla Speed McNeil (Finder, No Mercy).
It’s already well over-funded, so at this point, it’s just a pre-order to get the PDF ($15) or print ($30) copy, or an alternate cover version or hardcover (thanks to stretch goals). If you like science fiction comics, this looks to be a great way to check out some talented creators. Excerpts are available at the Kickstarter page (click the logo).
